AccessBase V1.54 is a version upgrade for the V1.52 release. For new installations it is required that AccessBase V1.52 be installed first before installing V1.54. When installing V1.54 over V1.52, V1.52 will be uninstalled first. During the uninstallation process, there will be window pop-ups that will ask whether to delete files that are no longer used by other applications. Click NO to keep all files. After the uninstallation has been successfully completed, run the V1.54 installation package again to install V1.54.

GC3 Firmware Update

The 2GIG GC3 Security and Home Automation Panel can be updated with just a USB drive making it quick and easy to always have the latest firmware.

Instructions

• Download the firmware update file.
• Save the firmware file to the root directory of a USB flash drive.
• Note: The USB flash drive must have only one partition
• Plug the USB flash drive into the USB port on the top of the GC3 panel.
• You will see a notice that there is a new firmware to install. Select Update
• Enter the Installer code or Master code.
• The GC3 will install the update and restart

Download the firmware update file.

IP Search

The IP Search Tool will search for and identify 2GIG cameras connected to the LAN. This allows you to change the IP address for each camera. Most 2GIG cameras have a default IP address of 192.168.0.120 and user name = admin and password = admin . Time Tool

Sync Time Server / Service for IP Cameras

Time plays an important part in video surveillance systems. All devices should be connected to the same clock to synchronize time. For security concerns, many installations do not allow cameras to directly access to Internet, thus the cameras cannot get the current time or time sync from a Network Time Protocol Server.

The Device NTP allows a PC on the local LAN to become a time server. The application should be installed on a PC and run 24×7. The PC may also be configured to connect to an NTP time server or Microsoft Windows time service to maintain proper date and time configuration.
